Vegan Potluck & Film Screening
St. Thomas's Anglican Church Hall
383 Huron Street
The vegan potluck portion of the evening will begin at 5:30pm, with the film beginning between 6:30 and 7pm. For the dinner, please do ensure that all food brought is vegan (no animal products whatsoever, including dairy, eggs, honey, etc...) and, if you're bringing something with chocolate, please only products labeled fair trade to avoid child slavery. Also, please bring a portion which serves approximately 6-8 servings so that as many attendees as possible get to sample your dish. To better accommodate those who may have specific food allergens (and because we get quite a few requests for recipes) we would also very much appreciate it if you are able to list the ingredients in your dish on a small slip of paper to display with it. Also, the entrance to the hall has approximately five steps leading up so please, do let me know if you have mobility issues so that we can accommodate you. We do have our own plates, cutlery, and glasses available for use, but do feel free to bring your own if you'd like to ensure that we don't run out of what you need, when you need it!
Directions:
Getting to the church hall is easy, as it's located in the Annex just a short distance from both Spadina and St. George Subway Stations. Here's a google map to help you navigate your way there a little better.
NOTE: Please do take a look at the map above if you're not familiar with the area, or if it's your first time coming to one of our potlucks, to make sure you're coming to the right church as there is more than one in the area.
