Peaceable Kingdom at Anchorage Film Fest Dec 5 & 13
For those who can brave the cold!
With the motto "films worth freezing for," the 9th annual
Anchorage International Film Festival will be held December 4th through the 17th, and will feature two screenings of
Peaceable Kingdom: The Journey Home.
The festival web site says: "Anchorage is a medium-sized city crouching on the edge of the howling Alaskan wilderness, surrounded by mountains and edged by a frigid and restless sea. It's far away from Cannes, Sundance, and Toronto, and people up here are proud of the fact they do things a little differently from the rest of the world. Independence has always been regarded as an asset and that quality remains a common character trait, even today.
